From a few years back with my Vanden Plas
good lord, 5 years ago now? Where does the time go? God I loved that wheel horse

Nice Jag, and nice tractor. I think about a Wheel Horse every time I grab a Deere to flip...they're so cool looking, but the Deeres are easier to sell.

Better recognition. But if your looking to flip a Deere i'd recommend the 318. Awesome little machine and I've heard good ones can be sold for absurd prices.

Of course its good for this. Toro is from the North Star State.

Fact. The problem is that most people who have 318s know what they have, so it's hard to find one cheap that doesn't need everything. Last year I did a 212 which was in great shape, made a couple hundred there. Then I did a newer LX277, doubled my investment. Deeres is good business.

Horizontal shaft Kohler (?) mounted *transverse*? WHAT SORCERY IS THIS

the good kind. When I put the rod through the block pulling stumps I needed some additional sorcery, but none left

You can't quite get as much machine for such a small size as the 318 nowadays. HyStat transmission and on board hydraulic system for example.
